"Rmimez" would become the nickname that would follow him throughout his career. A key actor in Algerian cinema, Fawzi was also sought after by foreign filmmakers and went on to star in more than twenty television and film productions, including "Les Folles Années Du Twist" (1986), "De Hollywood à Tamanrasset" (1991), "Beur Blanc Rouge" (2006) by Mahmoud Zemmouri, "La Route d'Istanbul" by Rachid Bouchareb (2016), and others. In 2015, a tribute was paid to him in his presence and that of many Algerian cinema figures at the Kateb Yacine Regional Theater in Tizi-Ouzou. Fawzi Saïchi passed away on September 29, 2025.
